No matter what your goals are, you need proper nutrition!

Nobody likes to hear it, but proper nutrition is going to make or break your health and wellbeing. Unfortunately, we currently live in a time where most food companies are not our friends. They are businesses, and as such they are out to make a profit. To that end they look for ways, and spend tons of money, to produce food cheaply and to try to get us addicted to it. In doing so they typically use ingredients that are not always the best for our health. In fact, there are many processed foods in this country that other countries have banned for human consumption! But there are still ways to eat healthy. You just need to know how.

Everyone is different, especially when it comes to how different foods affect us. Learning what foods affect you positively, giving you energy and helping to recover from exercise, can be a game changer when it comes to your health and fitness goals. We can work with you to help you figure how your “Macros” intake can help you to reach those goals.

With so many processed foods on the market with ingredients that are actually bad for your health and can lead to unwanted weight gain, we will, among other things, help you decipher what ingredients to look for that are good, ok, poor, and just downright bad for you. Like what is “bioengineered food” and how do they affect you? Are “seed oils” good or bad for you? How about “Hydrogenated oils”? We can help you decipher these and many other food ingredients that may or may not be good for us. Along with what types of foods are known to be good for you and how to plan your fitness goals around them.

Knowledge Is Key

Becky has a Nutrition Certification from International Sports Science Association, and Ryan has studied Sports Nutrition from the American Council on Exercise.

Experience Matters

Besides working with clients to help them with their nutrition, we both have spent many hours researching and studying nutrition for our personal diet plans. After many attempts at several different plans, we learned that we need to listen to our bodies and adjust our diets accordingly. Nutrition needs change with age. Everyone is different and what works for one person won’t necessarily work for someone else.
